Hello! I’m a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Georgia Tech. I lead two teams at AI–ALOE working on large–scale problems intersecting AI–based personalized learning and Education for online adult learners.

My background is in applied Responsible AI aimed at mitigating harmful bias–related issues within end–to–end deep learning (DL) pipelines in domains like computer vision and natural language processing.

I recently volunteered at a non–profit called Harvard in Tech Seattle as a Lead Data Scientist where I led a cross–functional team on developing a novel community–driven product tackling news disinformation from the ground-up.

I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Miami. As an interdisciplinary U-LINK Predoctoral Fellow, my dissertation focused on developing experimentation–based approaches to mitigate harmful fairness and bias issues within end–to–end image classification pipelines to study racial disparities in the criminal justice system and automated DL–based methodologies.
